The S.O.G. Crew is a unique experience of modern hip hop. Their
music reveals a creative expression of their journeys in the west
coast, east coast and down south. They have been established by God to
reach all generations, nations, and countries through the influence of
their ear-catching, banging beats and powerful lyrics. The group is
comprised of Robert Ornelas (Battle Ax), Johnny Diaz (Revolutionary),
and Corina Gonzalez (DJ Siren).
The S.O.G. Crew, based in Anaheim, California, has been trailblazing
the hip hop scene since 1999. Touring the U.S., Mexico, Hawaii, and
Alaska multiple times and dropping their first album ' We Rise to Get
Down' in 2005. This fearless team has entered night clubs, coffee
houses, colleges, universities, high schools, prisons, rehabs, and
project housing, amongst places to take the influence of their music
into places where none have dared to enter. Having performed before
Mayors, worked with every Native American Indian Tribe in the U.S. and
elite artists in the entertainment industry, been seen at multiple
conferences, city-wide events and performed before Chambers of Commerce
board members; their music is not the only highly desirable and sought
after trait, but also, their exceptionally influential speaking and
mentoring abilities to both children and families, and Hollywood
entertainers, musicians, and actors. The S.O.G. Crew has built a
network comprising of LYFFM (annual concert/2000 attendees), SOG Media
Promotions & Productions, ‘Elite TV’, and Whirlwind Music
Entertainment where they can reach out to the world with their talents.
The S.O.G. Crew has worked in music, T.V., and film with: Mac 10, WC,
Bizzy Bone (Bone Thugs in Harmony), B Real (Cypress Hill), Sick Jack
(Psycho Realm), Mellow Man Ace, Kid Frost, Glasses Malone, Brian
McKnight, Frankie J, Avila Bros, Tierra, Teddy Riley, The Delphonics,
Natalie Cole, Taboo (Black Eyed Peas), Jeremy Greene (Myspace Records),
Jabbawockeez, DJ Warrior, Carmit Bachar (former Pussy Cat Dolls), 40
Glocc and Spider Locc (G Unit), MC Eiht, Pop Singer J Smith, Cavie,
West Coast Kam, Buckshot and Sean Price (Boot Camp Click), Black Sheep,
Sly Boogie, Self-Scientific, Killa Priest and Prodigal Sunn (Wu-Tang
Clan), Far East Movement and T-Nut (producer: Snoop Dogg, Eastsiders)
amongst many. They have also worked with NFL Players such as Ricky
Manning (Chicago Bears) and Lorenzo O'Neal (San Diego Chargers),
P.O.D., Art Laboe, Yesi Ortiz (Power 106), Roq C (Latino 96.3), Paul
Rodriguez, actors Noel G and John Seda, comedian Eric Blake, Pro-Skater
Christian Hosoi, and with Mayors for city events. They have performed
at venues such as Gospel Music Awards Tennessee, House of Blues,
Knott’s Berry Farm, Kodak Theatre, BB Kings, Dream Centers of Los
Angeles and Santa Ana, Anaheim Convention Center, Orange County
Fairgrounds, and Los Angeles Marathons. The S.O.G. Crew is aired on
several local and international radio and television stations and
networks, such as Time Warner, TBN, and JC TV as a house band for
several months. S.O.G. Media Promotions has networked with many to
share The S.O.G. Crew’s music and talents such as: It Girl PR,
Acropolis RPM, Swagg Media, WSO Media, ICCE Wheels, West Side Original,
Chicano Rap Magazine, Fresh Coast Magazine, and soon on Risen Magazine.
The S.O.G. Crew has no vision to slow down. Currently they are
developing Whirlwind Music Entertainment, a talent scout record label,
and operating in media and videography producing ‘Elite TV- Bringing to
you the Red Carpet to the Streets’, a television program designed to
display red carpet interviews, onstage performances and behind the
scenes interviews of the elite in the entertainment industry and the
positive aspects of their lives that have assisted them in their
success. ‘Elite TV’ is scheduled for airplay on the Dish Network in
2009.
